Service.

By using My Lease Equity ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, see "Changes to these Terms" below.

My Lease Equity is a software tool that estimates the equity in your vehicle lease by combining information you provide (or upload) with third-party data sources, including:

• NHTSA for VIN decoding
• MarketCheck for active vehicle listing prices
• Google Gemini for parsing uploaded lease documents
• Internal lookup tables for lender policies and state sales tax

The Service produces a report at one of three tiers (Light, Full, or PRO) showing your estimated lease equity range and recommended exit path.

The Service is informational only. Reports we generate are NOT financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or recommendations to buy, sell, trade, or return any vehicle. The Service does not establish a fiduciary relationship.

Decisions about your lease, including whether to buy out, return, trade, or sell, can involve thousands of dollars and are consequential. Consult a qualified financial advisor, tax professional, or attorney before making such a decision. We strongly recommend confirming all numbers (payoff, taxes, fees, lender policies) directly with your lessor in writing before acting.

The Service relies on third-party data and on information you provide. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness of any data presented in a report, including:

• Vehicle market value. Listing prices shift daily and reflect asking prices, not transaction prices.
• VIN decode results. NHTSA may return incorrect or incomplete data for some vehicles.
• Extracted lease terms. AI-based document parsing may misread fields. You are responsible for verifying every extracted value against your actual lease contract.
• Lender policies and state tax rates. These come from static lookup tables that may not reflect recent policy or rate changes. Always confirm with your lender and state DMV before acting.

Reports reflect a point-in-time snapshot. Re-run the Service for updated numbers as your lease-end date approaches.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate inputs (VIN, mileage, ZIP, condition, lease terms)
• Confirming all numbers with your lessor in writing before any transaction
• Complying with your lease agreement, lender rules, and applicable law
• Any tax consequences of buying out, selling, or transferring your vehicle
• Keeping your account email accurate so you can re-access your report

Report pricing is shown at checkout. Current tiers: Light Report ($19.99), Full Report ($29.99), PRO Report ($39.99). Pricing may change. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that purchase.

Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms. We do not store payment card numbers.

Refund policy: we offer refunds within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not downloaded the report PDF. Once a PDF has been generated and downloaded, the report is considered consumed and refunds are at our discretion. Email tj.ellion@gmail.com to request a refund.

Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in account termination and forfeiture of access to any active reports.

The Service may surface information about specific lenders, including third-party buyout policies, payoff procedures, and call scripts. This information is provided for your convenience and is not endorsed, sponsored, or approved by any lender or manufacturer named.

We are not affiliated with, and receive no compensation from, any dealer, lender, marketplace, or buyout service. We do not share your vehicle or contact information with dealers or lenders unless you explicitly opt in on a separate screen.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any particular feature will remain available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided WITHOUT WARRANTY of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities.
• Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions don't allow limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold My Lease Equity, its operators, affiliates, and contractors harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) any decision you make based on a report.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for misuse, fraud, abusive behavior toward support, or chargeback activity. You may stop using the Service at any time. These Terms survive termination to the extent necessary to enforce the parties' rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
